We are MidWorld Press, a publisher focusing on small run, high quality collector’s editions books of the Sci-fi, Fantasy, Horror, and Crime genres.
Limited and Lettered have many of the same qualities.
They are hardcover, acid-free archival grade paper, illustrations added to the book, signed by the author(when applicable), and occasionally by the artist.

Where they differ is the amount printed(26 to 52 for Lettered editions, 300-500 for Limited Editions), and Lettered editions come with a clamshell case for protection, a cover made out of fancier materials, and other possible additional items.
Doing one of these editions is a long process, that takes even longer, since we are a small business with just two people who work day time jobs beyond MidWorld Press.

The process starts with scanning a physical book, and then taking that scan and converting it to a PDF that we can start to layout.
After the layout, we then go through the book to make try and catch any mistakes from the conversion process, and send the book off to a proofreader.
During all of this, we are in constant contact with artists, trying to find the right one for the project, and with the author to make sure that we are taking the book in a direction they like.
Finally, we have to design the book cover, and send it all off to the printers.

You can return your book within 14 days of of recipe, or 14 days of last significant communication, if we were in contact about any issues.

Refunds are purchase price, minus 3%, for fees taken out when purchased.
You can cancel your order any time before shipping starts for a full refund.
Books are packed in a bubble mailer, surrounded in packaging peanuts within the shipping box.
If your book doesn’t arrive, check with the shipper, and please reach out to us withing 24 hours of expected delivery, and we will work with you to find out what happened.

If the book is damaged, please reach out to us with photos within 24 hours, so we can assist you as quickly as possible.
If it is not a pre-order, fulfilling an order usually takes 1 to 2 days.

If it is a pre-order, we will keep the page updated with expected date to start shipping.
We don’t ship everywhere, but if it’s not listed in, please reach out, and we will do what we can to add shipping to your location!
Depending on method, but Media Mail usually takes from 5 to 10 days.
